Researchers examined 13 different studies covering the same top over ten years involving participants from ages 18-35 that took part in various cognitive tests and exercises, like running, bicycling, and walking. The researchers found that just minutes of exercise had favorable effects on learning and memory functions.
The Researcher also found that the participants in the study showed improved memory, planning, problem-solving, concentration, long-term memory, and verbal fluency from moderate to high-intensity exercises. The effects from the physical activity were present 30-120 minutes after exercising.
Overall, the Researchers found that “Exercise makes you smart.”
